CertainTeed Landmark & Carlisle SynTec EPDM

Three Stone Roofing completed a comprehensive roofing and exterior restoration project at St. Andrews Church, delivering a complete building envelope solution designed to enhance long-term performance, weather protection, and curb appeal.

The project included the installation of 19,000 square feet of CertainTeed Landmark® architectural shingles and 6,000 square feet of a 60-mil Carlisle SynTec® fully adhered EPDM roofing system, providing a seamless combination of steep-slope and low-slope roofing systems engineered for exceptional durability and long-term performance. The project included a complete roof replacement with all work performed in accordance with the International Building Code (IBC) and manufacturer installation specifications, bringing the facility’s roofing system up to current code standards while providing the church with a modern, high-performance roofing assembly built to withstand years of exposure.

As part of the exterior restoration, Three Stone also completed a full replacement of the building’s rainwater management system, installing custom-fabricated gutters, downspouts, scuppers, and conductor boxes designed to improve drainage performance while complementing the architectural character of the church. Additionally, our team replaced and repainted the majority of the building’s soffit and fascia, restoring the exterior appearance and protecting critical structural components from future weather-related deterioration.

With the church remaining active throughout construction, detailed planning and communication were essential to the project’s success. Through strategic material staging, phased construction, and meticulous site management, Three Stone completed the project with minimal disruption to church staff, ministries, and scheduled activities. Maintaining a safe, clean, and organized worksite throughout construction was a top priority, ensuring the campus remained accessible and welcoming for members and visitors alike.
