Carlisle SynTec TPO & CertainTeed Landmark

Three Stone Roofing successfully completed one of the largest and most complex church roofing projects in Middle Tennessee, delivering a comprehensive 110,000-square-foot roof replacement at Christ Community Church in Franklin, Tennessee. The project included the complete replacement of both the facility’s low-slope and steep-slope roofing systems, providing the church with a high-performance, manufacturer-backed roofing solution built for decades of protection. The low-slope portion of the project consisted of a full tear-off of approximately 80,000 square feet of existing roofing, replacement of the insulation system with new polyisocyanurate (ISO) insulation, and installation of a premium 80-mil mechanically attached Carlisle SynTec® TPO roofing system.

The completed assembly qualified for a 30-Year Carlisle No Dollar Limit (NDL) Manufacturer Warranty, providing the church with one of the industry’s highest levels of long-term warranty protection. In addition, Three Stone replaced approximately 30,000 square feet of steep-slope roofing with a new CertainTeed Landmark® architectural shingle system, enhancing both the building’s durability and aesthetic appeal while creating a cohesive roofing solution across the entire campus.

As part of the exterior restoration, our team also removed and replaced all perimeter coping cap metal with a new Peterson Aluminum ES-1 rated edge metal system, engineered to meet ANSI/SPRI ES-1 performance standards for superior wind resistance and perimeter edge security. The project extended beyond the roof itself. To protect the church’s most valuable interior spaces during construction, Three Stone implemented a comprehensive interior protection plan within the sanctuary, including debris containment measures throughout the roof replacement process. Upon completion of the roofing work, our team also repainted the entire sanctuary ceiling, leaving the space in exceptional condition and demonstrating our commitment to protecting every aspect of the facility.

With an active church campus and ongoing ministry activities, this project demanded meticulous planning and flawless execution. Multiple pre-construction meetings, detailed logistics planning, phased construction sequencing, and continuous coordination with church leadership ensured the project progressed safely and efficiently while minimizing disruption to daily operations, staff, and congregation members.

Throughout construction, Three Stone maintained a clean, organized, and secure jobsite, allowing the church to continue serving its community with confidence. Through exceptional craftsmanship, proactive communication, and disciplined project management, Three Stone delivered a roofing system that exceeded expectations in quality, performance, and professionalism.
